Half-day (4 hours) De-escalation Training

Training that equips practitioners with strategies, tools and skills to safely diffuse conflict, reduce harm and respond with clarity and compassion.


  •  Understanding de-escalation principles - learning the core concepts and techniques to effectively reduce tension and aggression in various situations.
  • Identifying aggressive behaviours - recognising early signs of aggression and understanding factors that contribute to escalation.
  • Risk assessment - assessing potential risk and identifying triggers that may lead to aggressive behaviours.
  • Practical application - applying de-escalation techniques in real-life scenarios through role playing and simulations.
  • Safet and disengagement - learning how to safely disengage from a situation when de-escalation tactics and ineffective.




From $100 per person

Plus Trainers travel & accommodation expenses

  • Risk identification and assessment - increased ability to identify any threat to safety and how to mitigate risk to safety. 
  • Situational awareness - home visit pre-visit checks and safety planning.

  • Practical safety - tools to increase personal and organisational safety.
  • Tactical communication - how to manage volatile clients or situations safely using clear and effective communication methods.
